Processing of IP Addresses when Using the Website
Each time this website is accessed, the web server automatically records certain technical information and processes this information in ‘server log files’. This may also include the IP address of the end-device making the request. This processing is required to facilitate the running of the website on a technical level, to ensure system security and stability, to enable analysis of errors and malfunctions, and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use.
IP addresses are processed exclusively to the extent this is technically necessary for the website to operate in a secure and fully-functional manner. The data is not connected with other data sources unless there is a legal obligation to do so, or else a specific security incident occurs.
Data is stored in server log files for a limited period of 30 days, after which the data is deleted, unless an extended period of retention of the data is required for the purpose of providing evidence in the event of security-related incidents. In accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, the user has a right to object to their IP address data being processed at any time.
